Created in 1989, LAPURTARRAK is a mixed choir whose conductor since 1999 have been Marylis Daguerre. Composed of around fifty men and women, this choral society aims to serve and defend Basque culture both through traditional melodies and contemporary creations whose lyrics - some of wich have been created by our created - evoke love, both in general and for the Basque country in particular. LAPURTARRAK are interested in very different musical styles, from classical to international folk - not forgetting their specific, and very varied, Chritmas repertoire. The choir devotes itself to spreading an awareness and love of Basque culture during its numerous tours of various regions of France, including the Landes, Béarn, Hautes-Pyrénées, Midi-Pyrénées, Bordeaux area, Dordogne, Auvergne, Provence, Brittany, Anjou, Paris, Biscay... /tr> tr>
